§ 15-8. False alarms or reports.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person, willfully or intentionally to give or cause to be given or made any false alarm or false report of fire, crime, illness, accident, a natural phenomenon or other event unto any governmental agency or any private contractor engaged in the provision of police, fire, medical or other emergency services, wholly or in part, unto the citizens of Yazoo City.

Violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor subject to penalties provided by law.
