§ 6-1. Fire districts.

  • (a)

    The first fire district of the city shall be and include that part of the city within the following area: Bounded on the north by Canal Street, bounded on the west by the east right-of-way line of the Illinois Central Railroad, bounded on the east by Washington Street, and bounded on the south by Brandon Street and the intersection of Main Street with the east right-of-way of the Illinois Central Railroad.

    (b)

    The second fire district shall be and include all that part of the city not included within the limits of the first fire district.
