§ 18-21. Directional designations for streets crossing base line.

  • In addition to the numbers placed on each house or other building as heretofore provided, all streets and other public ways which cross a base line and retain the same street name are hereby given the following directional designations:

    (1)

    North of east-west base line: All such streets north of the east-west base line and running in a generally northerly direction are given the direction "North" as part of the street name.

    (2)

    South of east-west base line: All such streets south of the east-west base line and running in a generally southerly direction are given the direction "South" as part of the street name.

    (4)

    East of north-south base line: All such streets east of the north-south base line and running in an easterly direction are given the direction "East" as part of the street name.

    (5)

    West of north-south base line: All such streets west of the north-south base line and running in a westerly direction are given the direction "West" as part of the street name.
